TRIPOLI – Four strong explosions rocked Tripoli early Sunday amid clashes in several quarters of the Libyan capital between forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi and rebels challenging his long rule.
The blasts were heard shortly after 4:00 am (0200 GMT) in the heart of the city as NATO warplanes flew overhead, an AFP journalist said.
The targets were not immediately identifiable.
