Two Koreans were shot when they fought off four armed robbers in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City Tuesday night.
Choi Soon Shul, 22, was wounded in the face, while Heo Yekang, 27, was shot in the right arm.
Police said Choi and Heo, along with fellow Korean Anna Ho, 26, were walking along F. Cabahug Street when two motorcycles, each with two men aboard passed by.
Police said the four men alighted from their motorcycles, approached Anna and grabbed her shoulder bag.
Police said the robbers even tried to abduct Anna but Choi and Heo intervened which prompted the robbers to shoot them.
The robbers fled with the woman’s bag containing cellphones and cash amounting to P50,000.
Choi and Heo then hailed a taxi which brought them to the Cebu Doctors’ Hospital./CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
