Yaw-Yan ArDigma seals deal with Sky Cable

THE Yaw-Yan ArDigma Martial Arts Federation, Inc. will take Cebu Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) to new heights after it inked a partnership with SKY Cable, delegating the latter as the official media partner for the highly anticipated ‘Ground and Pound 7: Resolution’ slated Aug. 31 at the Cebu Coliseum.
The partnership has been made official last Tuesday after Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu CEO/Founder Master Benigno “Ekin” R. Caniga and SKY Cable Airtime Executive Jeff Taleon signed the dotted lines at the Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu headquarters.
Aside from being the official media sponsor, SKY Cable through its community channel 61 and 62 will also show the event on a delayed telecast on Sept. 7.
SKY Cable will also show regular teasers and trailers for the biggest MMA tournament in Cebu.
“This is part of our vision in making MMA big here in Cebu. This is the first time that an MMA tournament in the Visayas will be covered and televised by a station,” said Caniga.
The seventh sequel of the highly-successful Ground and Pound series presents another historic page in Cebu sports as it features a first ever Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) heavyweight championship match.
