Cebu Normal University has 100% passing rate

Eight Cebu examinees made it to the top ten of the Nurse Licensure Examination,whose results were released yesterday.

They are Patricia Teodoro Pintac (Cebu Doctor’s University) in 4th place; and Jacob Cabrera Reyes (Cebu Normal University)  and Florence Jill dela Victoria Polina (STI College Cebu) in 6th place.

Lowel Andrew Batomalaque (CNU)  and Cherryl Joyce Tan (Velez College) in 8th place; Thea Mae Baronda (Velez College) in 9th place; and Jane Cabatingan (CNU) and Deo Robert Castro (Cebu Doctor’s University) in 10th place.

Cebu Normal University was one of three schools with 100 percent passing percentage, making it among the 10 best performing schools in the country.

FEATURED STORIES

A total of 37,513 out of 78,135 passed exam given by the Board of Nursing in July, the Professional Regulation Commission announced.

Jomel Garcia Lapides of the University of the Philippines-Manila topped the examination with a rating of 88.4 percent.

Two University of Santo Tomas nursing graduates, Hazel Cortes Crisostomo and Beverly Lynne Yao Ong, ranked second. Each got 87.4 percent. (Top 10 examinees on page 39)

Cebu Normal University has 181 successful examinees, 161 for the West Visayas State University-La Paz, and 57 for the University of the Philippines-Manila.

The dates and venues of all oath-taking for new nurses will be announced later.
