Police Officer 2 Rhic Roldan Pittong of the Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said that an empty .22-caliber pistol magazine was recovered near the bodies.
The investigator described the victims as between 25 and 30 years old and both approximately five-foot-five tall. One was clad in a blue shirt, a black jacket and black short pants and sported tattoos on his shoulder, right knee and right wrist. The other victim wore an orange shirt and camouflage-design short pants and had the name “Jeff” tattooed on his abdomen. He also bore tattoos on his right hand and chest.
Pittong said that one victim was killed by a single bullet wound in the chest while the other bore multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
According to Pittong, the bodies were found at around 1 a m. at the intersection of Mindanao Avenue Extension and Belfast Avenue in Barangay Greater Lagro by PO2 Dante Arador and PO1 Arthur Cataluna, who were doing the rounds of the area in a patrol car.
The policemen, he said, initially noticed two persons lying on the side of the street and decided to investigate. The Lagro police station personnel then realized as they drew near that the two men were dead and immediately reported their discovery.
