Murder inside Quezon Memorial Circle

An elderly man was shot dead while tending his eatery inside the Quezon Memorial Circle Saturday afternoon.

Domingo Taniegra 74, of Antipolo City, died at his stall in the QMC’s Picnic 1 Pavilion.

Police said the gunman walked away toward Gate 5 after the attack and fled with another man on a motorbike.

Quoting witnesses, SPO1 Pascual Fabreag said the gunman was seen lingering near the store for several minutes before approaching Taniegra to shoot him in the head. Julie Aurelio
