As part of the celebration of the 35th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week, the Taguig City government will hold a job fair for persons with disabilities (PWDs) on Friday.
“Our PWDs are our partners in progress. The job fair is aimed at allowing them to obtain gainful employment and be productive members of our community,” Mayor Lani Cayetano said.
According to Taguig Persons with Disabilities Office (PDAO) officer in charge Helario Supaz, several companies have expressed their intention to join the job fair, one of the many activities lined up for the week-long celebration which started on July 17 and would end on the 23rd.
The city kicked off its celebration of the 35th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week at St. Anne Parish and on the city hall grounds on July 17.
Aside from the employment bazaar, the PDAO has also organized a reflexology services event for city hall employees. It will be held at the PDAO grounds on July 22.
