THE ATENEO Blue Eagles will try to stay undefeated as they battle the University of Sto. Tomas Growling Tigers, today in the 74th UAAP basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum.
The Blue Eagles have been untouchable in eight games this season and are looking great in their quest for a fourth straight crown.
Their opponents today, though, will be no pushovers as UST is coming off a 77-70 win over the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons.
Karim Abdul had a breakout game in that match as he tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds to help the Tigers notch a 4-4 (win-loss) record.
Meanwhile, the La Salle Green Archers will also try to improve on their 4-4 standing when they take on the hapless University of the East Red Warriors. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
