FARMER WITH GUNS ARRESTED
A FARMER was arrested after police found guns in his home during a raid in barangay Talavera, Toledo City, midwest Cebu.
A revolver and an improvised shotgun were found at the house of Rogelio Codino.
Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas conducted the raid after they received reports that the farmer was seen brandishing firearms in sitio Ylaya.
A search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Hermis Montero Branch 59 of Toledo City was used in the raid. CORRESPONDENT CHITO O. ARAGON
MAN NABBED FOR SHABU

During the inspection, police found the suspected drugs in the U-box of the motorcycle.

2 MEN FINED FOR DUMPING GARBAGE
TWO men in a multicab were apprehended after they were caught dumping garbage on Ouano Avenue, barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
Police said Henry Purgatorio 36, and Randy Jaca 37, of barangay Inayawan, Cebu City, were arrested around 11 p.m. last Wednesday.
They were released on Friday after paying a P7,000 fine.
Police seized a multicab used by the two men in dumping the garbage.
Police said the men were cited for violation of Republic Act 9003 of the Ecological Solid Waste Program. CORRESPONDENT NORMAN V. MENDOZA
