THREE young women landed in the hospital after incurring severe injuries when their jet ski was run over by a boat in the waters off barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday afternoon.

Neica Canaya, 17, her 14-year-old sister Ruth Canaya, 14, and 16-year-old neighbor Glydel Garcia were brought to the North General Hospital in Banilad, Cebu City after sustaining injuries.

Garcia told police they slowed down upon seeing the boat, but the seacraft didn’t reduce speed and struck them. They were later rescued by another boat.
