3 MEN FALL IN LAPU DRUG BUST
THREE men were arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay Babag, Lapu-Lapu City last Monday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as Victor Jumao-as, 42; Russell Amoin, 36; and Prudencio Jumao-as, 69.
Operatives of the Intelligence Division of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LLCPO) led by PInsp. Adrian Enriquez conducted the operation after weeks of surveillance.
Police said Victor was the target of the operation.
Police said Prudencio was the one who brought the poseur-buyers to the place where Victor and Amoin were waiting.
Police said Victor accepted the P200 marked money then instructed Amoin to hand over a pack of suspected shabu to the policemen in civilian clothes who acted as poseur-buyers.
After the transaction, police moved and arrested the three men.
Police said seized from Victor’s possession were 13 packs of suspected shabu, the marked money and drug-sniffing paraphernalia.
Amoin allegedly yielded two packs of suspected shabu.

VENDOR NABBED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE
A 22-YEAR-OLD vendor was arrested on accusation that he sexually harassed his 16-year old cousin in Lapu-Lapu City Monday morning.
The girl told police that she was gathering firewood when her cousin arrived.
The girl said the man tried to give her money and suddenly hugged her.
The girl managed to run and sought help from her sister.
The siblings reported the incident to the police that led to the vendor’s arrest.
