Metro flooded due to heavy rains brought by ‘Isang’

MANILA, Philippines—Several areas in Metro Manila were flooded Tuesday evening following the sudden downpour caused by tropical depression “Isang”.

Jude Trinidad of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority-Flood Control Unit said a waist-deep flood was recorded on R. Papa Street in Manila past 8 p.m., while gutter-deep floods were seen at the northbound lane of Edsa-MCU in Caloocan City and C5 Kalayaan towards Market! Market! in Taguig City.

A six-inch flood on the other hand was observed at the northbound lane of Edsa-De Jesus.
