Cop dies in Zamboanga del Norte road crash

MANILA, Philippines—Two motorcycles collided, leaving a policeman killed in Zamboanga del Norte Friday before dawn, police said.

Police Officer 3 Ramalan Nor died after his motorcycle collided with another motorcycle driven by a Roger Nemenso along Minaog Highway in Zamboanga del Norte at around 5 a.m., said Highway Patrol Group regional chief Senior Superintendent Romeo Uy.

Nor was declared dead on arrival at the hospital while Nemenso sustained minor injuries, Uy said.

Investigation was being conducted, he said.
