9 couples take vows in free wedding
“TO have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part.”
These were the vows of nine couples who joined together as one last June 29 in a free mass wedding sponsored by Dedon Manufacturing at the Basak Fatima church in barangay Basak, Mandaue City.
The couples took their vows before Mass celebrant Fr. Everett Glad Niere.
Dedon management Team led by Vince Lampert served as principal and secondary sponsors.
“We wish you the best in your marriage. We are confident that you will be a blessing to each other and to those whom you meet in your lives,” Lampert said.
Dedon’s Panaghugpong, organizer of the yearly mass wedding, supports the concept of joining two individuals in a “lifelong commitment” of loving and caring centered in their faith in God.
