Man, two sons nabbed in Liloan drug raid
A man and his two sons were arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay San Vicente, Liloan town, northern Cebu.
Two other men were arrested for possession of illegal drugs in Lapu-Lapu City.
Arrested in the Liloan operation were Hilario “Lario” Atis and his two sons Norvin and Herwin.
The operation was conducted by operatives of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG) past 5 p.m. last Tuesday.
The suspects were tagged by police as level three drug pushers who could dispose of 25 to 50 grams of shabu per week, said Senior Insp. Leo Torrejos Logroño, deputy chief of PAIDSOTG.
Logroño said Hilario was arrested in the living room of his home after he handed over a pack of suspected shabu worth P200 to a poseur-buyer.

The suspects did not resist arrest, said Logroño.
Charges of illegal possession and selling of illegal drugs will be filed against the arrested persons.
Charges of illegal possession of firearms will also be filed against Herwin.
In barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, Michael Matidios, 45, a resident of barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu, and Joggary Juezan, 30, of barangay Sta. Rosa Olango Island, were arrested by police who were responding to a shooting alarm.
Police said operatives of the Special Weapons and Tacticts (SWAT) team on board two mobile patrols were heading toward barangay Mactan when they chanced upon two men riding a motorcycle without a plate number.
The backrider of the motorcycle had no helmet on.
The SWAT operatives flagged down the motorcycle.
Police said Juezan, who was driving the motorcycle, failed to present a driver’s license and the motorcycle’s registration.
When frisked, Matidios was found to have 95 packs of suspected shabu, an improvised glass tooter, four bullets for a .38 revolver and P4,308.50 cash in his possession.
Police said drug paraphernalia was recovered from Juezan.
