Woman shot dead while driving home
THE body of a woman was found by the roadside in barangay Pandan, Naga City, southern Cebu.
Joanne Omaque La Rosa’s body had a gunshot wound in the shoulder. The victim lived in Deca Homes in barangay Tungkil, Minglanilla town.
Police are still investigating the motive of the attack.

The body was discovered by a habal-habal driver who happened to pass by the area around 5 a.m. yesterday. Police said La Rosa was driving a motorcycle on her way home from barangay Lutopan in Toledo City where she was sponsoring a candidate for a beauty pageant in the city when she was waylaid, said PO1 Jason Panilag of Naga police.
