FORMER national team member, Victorio Saludar III took a solid step towards building his professional boxing career by signing up with the country’s premiere boxing promotional outfit, ALA Promotions.
The 22 year-old Saludar, the youngest of three boxing brothers was an amateur standout, a 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games bronze medalist and a steady contender winning two Palarong Pambansa gold medals and six national championship gold medals. The pride of Polomolok, South Cotabato was also named “Best Fighter of the Tournament” during the 31’s Tammer Cup held in Tampere, Finland.
Saludar, younger brother of the undefeated Interim WBO Oriental, Youth and Asia Pacific flyweight champion Froilan “Sniper” Saludar who goes by the moniker “Vicious” joined ALA boxing’s stable of fighters for the exciting 108 pounds division.
He is set to make his pro-debut in the upcoming 21st edition of Pinoy Pride mega boxing series which headlines WBO World Minimumweight champion Merlito Sabillo going up against WBO world rated No. 6 challenger Jorle Estrada of Colombia.
