Fire guts several houses in Cembo, Makati

MANILA, Philippines—Fire gutted a residential block in Makati Monday afternoon, but no one was reported injured, a Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region officer said.

Senior Fire Officer 1 Louie Abenales said the blaze swept through several houses on Mabolo Street in Barangay (village) Cembo at 2:18 p.m.

It reached second alarm before it was put out at 2:50 p.m.

Investigators were still determining the origin of the fire.
