Admin raps ordered filed vs rookie cop in Crame gunrunning case
MANILA, Philippines—Philippine National Police Deputy Director General Nicanor Bartolome has ordered the immediate filing of an administrative case against a rookie policeman arrested for gunrunning last Saturday.
“I just directed the director of HSS (Headquarters Support Service) to expedite, to complete on the soonest possible time the resolution of his administrative case,” said Bartolome.
Police Officer 1 Jerome Javier, assigned at the HSS, was arrested inside the Police Non-Commissioned Officer quarters in Camp Crame around 12 noon on Saturday while selling to three civilians two .45 caliber pistols believed to be fabricated in Cebu.
Bartolome said a criminal case had already been filed against Javier and four others—Jordan Abero, Arnold Valencia, Virgilio Catangay and Flor Beros.
