WOMAN STABS EX-BF’S LOVER
JEALOUSY drove a woman to stab another woman in barangay Pajac, Lapu-Lapu City.
Necquilen Maputol, 32, a native of Surigao del Sur but has been living in Pajac, was arrested by police shortly after she attacked Mary Rose Bustillo, a 33-year-old secretary of a real state company.
Police said Bustillo was walking home Tuesday night when Maputol stabbed her repeatedly using a bladed weapon.
Bustillo sustained stab wounds in the shoulder, neck and head.
Maputol fled after the attack while Bustillo sought help from her relatives, who brought her to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
Police later arrested Maputol in her home.
SPO1 Allan Pantaleon, homicide investigator of the Lapu-Lapu City police, said Maputol admitted that she was upset at the victim who is now living with the suspect’s previous live-in partner.
