THE league-leading Healthy Home continued to reign atop the standings after it downed Primeguard, 74-62 last Sunday in the First Conference of the 2013 United Architects Basketball Club at the Cebu Eastern College gym.
Healthy Home bucked the absence of top gunner Mike Cinco behind their balanced attack that saw five players with double-digit scores led by the 13 each of Nate Marquita, Josephril Partosa and Oliver Maspinas.
The winning squad raced to a 46-28 halftime lead and was never threatened en route to their fifth win in seven games. Primeguard fell to 1-5 (win-loss).
In other games, Fractalis defeated the second-running Mortaflex, 87-63, to improve to 3-3 while pulling their victims down to 4-2. Darwin Tan led the way with 16 while Rhyan Pepito and Oliver Tan had 12 each.
Cool Shades likewise tied Fractalis at third after it rode on the 46-point performance of Criz Matunog to beat Clean Air, 106-87. Mark Capili also pumped in 22 points while Marvin Siatong added 16 in pushing their victims further down the standings with a 2-4 card.
