A 66-year-old retiree from Taguig City has a fortune teller to thank after she won the P33.9 million jackpot prize for the 6/42 lotto draw.

The lotto bettor, a mother of three, guessed the winning combination of 38-27-32-35-22-08 during the June 27 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said Wednesday.

She claimed her winnings the other day at the PCSO headquarters in Pasay City.

PCSO General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II learned from the winner that three years ago, she visited a fortune teller who told her she would win the lotto someday.

Rojas II said the winner planned to donate some of her money to the church, buy a house and lot and share her winnings with her children and grandchildren. Niña P. Calleja
