Recycling market day to turn trash into cash

THE SM malls in Cebu City and Consolacion will once again exchange trash for cash at the Recycling Market Day on July 5 and 6.

The Recycling Market Day does not only convert trash into cash, but also help the environment.

A joint project of SM Supermalls with the National Solid Waste Management Committee, Philippine Business for the Environment, and other government units, the Recycling Market Day has acquired a following since its inception.

People may bring their scrap papers, cardboards, empty ink and toner cartridge, plastic bottles, used leadbatteries, aluminum, tin cans and junk appliances, and turn these items into cash.

The Recycling Market Day is open from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.
