Drug rap filed against QC cop

A policeman is now facing charges before a Quezon City court following his arrest earlier this month for alleged possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia.

Charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 was PO3 Nestor del Rosario, 53, of the Quezon City Police District.

Assistant city prosecutor Rogelio Velasco recommended bail of P200,000 for the policeman’s provisional liberty.
