Fire kills 2-year-old boy left home alone

A sleeping two-year-old child left by himself was killed when a fire broke out in Caloocan City on Wednesday night.

The victim was identified by the Caloocan fire department as Mike Joshua Sabado. His body was found inside his house on Sixto Street, 7th Avenue.

Firemen said the blaze started at 9 p.m. in the house where the boy lived with his mother, Jonalyn. At that time, he was alone because his mother had gone out to scavenge for garbage.
