200 participants enlist for Sunday’s Eco Trail Run

AROUND 200 runners have already enlisted for this Sunday’s Columbia Eco Trail Run at the rough terrain of the Danasan Eco Adventure Park in Danao City, Cebu.

Primer Philippines’ marketing associate Jeri Mari Trisha M. Abenido announced the race features the 12-kilometer and 18K distances. The race briefing will be this Friday at the Active Zone of Ayala Center Cebu at 6 p.m.

The run will offer the participants a tough combination of rough terrains, single track trail, riverbed, and an uphill challenge course characterized by vast open spaces and vegetation.

Winning runners will take home exciting prizes from Columbia. For the 12K category, the champions will take home P5,000 while the second placers will get P3,000 and third placers P2,000 for both men and women’s categories.

In the premier 18k race, the winners will walk away with P8,000 while the second placers will get P5,000 and P3,000 for the third finishers. Winners will also receive P1,000 worth of Columbia gift certificates. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
