DRUG SUSPECT NABBED
A MAN allegedly a member of an Ozamiz City-based drug group was arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.
Ramil Ybañez, 46, was arrested in front of his house in sitio Seaside where he allegedly handed over a big pack of suspected shabu worth P25,000 to a poseur-buyer, said Jessie Tabanao, information officer of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas (PDEA).
Tabanao said Ybañez is a member of Colango drug group.

BURGER JOINT ROBBED
TWO armed men robbed a burger joint in barangay Basak, Mandaue City.
Luckily, only P150 was taken from the burger joint.
Judy Manlunas said he was able to convince the two robbers that the store only P150 cash in proceeds.
Manlunas said the other proceeds amounting to P4,000 was kept in her pocket.
Manlunas said two men arrived in the store past 3 a.m. Saturday and ordered burgers and softdrinks.
After consuming their food, Manlunas said she was shocked when the two men poked a gun at her and declared a hold-up.
Manlunas said she showed the cash drawer to the robbers containing P150.
The two robbers took the P150 cash and Manlunas’ cellphone worth P1,000.
The robbers fled on foot.
Manlunas’s co-worker Joel Rivera arrived about an hour after the incident.
