Fire razes apartment in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines—A  23-minute fire gutted an apartment in Quezon City Friday, a city fire officer said.

Fire Officer 3 Jason Bautista said the blaze gutted a three-storey apartment in Barangay (village) Amoranto in Quezon City.

The fire, which started at 3:22 p.m., reached second alarm before it was put out at 3:45 p.m., Bautista said.

Authorities have yet to identify the owner of the establishment.

As of this posting, no one was reported hurt.
