SAN ANTONIO, Nueva Ecija, Philippines—Police arrested on Wednesday two of four suspects in a robbery attempt in which the father of a television actress was wounded and two of his employees were killed on June 17 in Barangay Cama Juan here.
Chief Inspector Marcelino Veneracion, San Antonio police chief, said Alberto Cordova and Robin Santiago have been charged with shooting to death Peter Berones and Feliciano Sumang when they barged into the home of Godofredo Angeles Jr. on Monday night.
Angeles, who is being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound on the thigh, is the father of actress Janna Dominguez.
Angeles’ wife, April, recognized Cordova as the house painter they had contracted recently, Veneracion said. Two other suspects have been identified and are being hunted, he said.
