2 kids die in Maguindanao flood

MANILA, Philippines – Two children were reported killed from floods triggered by torrential rains for the past few days in Maguindanao, a regional office of civil defense said.

The fatalities, a three-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl, drowned at the height of flooding in Damasalak village in Pagalungan, the Office of Civil Defense in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao said.

The two children were siblings, the OCD ARRM added.

Quoting a report from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the children drowned Tuesday and their bodies were recovered later in the day.
