Farmer, woman hacked
A FARMER and a woman were wounded in separate hacking incidents in Cebu last Friday.
Ruben Rosell Rodrigo, 55, was lying on a sofa while watching television in his house when he was attacked by his drunk neighbor in barangay Tuminjao, Daanbantayan town.
The suspect, Jose Dela Fuente, 33, was arrested after the incident.
The victim sustained hack wounds in the left ear and forehead. He was brought to a hospital in Cebu City.
In barangay North Poblacion, Naga City, a woman was hacked by his husband who suspected her of having an affair with another man, police said.
Corazon Sasan, 57, was rushed to the Minglanilla district Hospital with hack wounds in the body.
