Pagasa: Expect rains this week

Light to moderate rains will be experienced today and tomorrow in Cebu as another low pressure area is expected in the Visayas next week.

Pagasa Mactan station weather analyst Oscar Tabada said there will also be light to moderate winds from the southwest to southeast.

“If the rain is strong, fisherfolk are advised to keep out of shore,” he told Cebu Daily News.

Philippine Coast Guard Cebu Station Commander Weniel Azcuna said the Pagasa forecast showed no tropical depression near and around Cebu.

As of 2 p.m yesterday, the Coast Guard didn’t issue any travel advisories.
