THE Global FC Philippine Under 15 seeks its first win in the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM)-Frenz U-15 Asean Champions Trophy 2013 as it faces Frenz Indonesia at the football field of the University of Makati today.
This will be the team’s second home game with the first one held here in Cebu last month, where it lost to Frenz Malaysia B, 0-3.
The team is made up of former members of the Little Azkals as well as several Cebuano booters.
It will be an uphill climb for the boys as they face Group B’s current leader.
Frenz Indonesia has seven points after having won two of three games it has played so far.
In contrast, the Global FC Philippine U15 is at the cellar with no points yet.
Last weekend, the team was edged by Lao Toyota FC, 1-2, in Laos. Last June 8, the team also suffered a 1-4 defeat against Myanmar Mandalay FA in Myanmar. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
