CHICAGO — A gunman killed three people at a home health care business in the midwestern US city of St. Louis in an apparent murder-suicide Thursday, police said.
Officers found the bodies of two men and two women lying inside the office after getting calls of shots fired there at 1:30 p.m. (1830 GMT).
“After an investigation that included a review of the video of the building, we determined this was a murder-suicide,” St. Louis Police Captain Michael Sack told reporters.
“The gentleman who killed the other people inside the office appeared to have had an argument with the others and at some point opened fire with a weapon.”
Sack said it was too early to determine why the gunman decided to kill everyone inside the office.
The victims appeared to be in their early 40s to mid-50s, he said.
