Batangas assistant provincial prosecutor killed in ambush

MANILA, Philippines—An Assistant Provincial Prosecutor in Batangas was killed in an ambush at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Prosecutor General Claro Arellano identified the victim as Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Alex Sandoval.
He said Sandoval was on his way to Sta. Teresita, Batangas Metropolitan Trial Court when attacked.
