Thirty-eight pilgrims from the Commission on Youth of the Archdiocese of Cebu will bring ‘Barkada ni Pedro’ (BNP) to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil during the World Youth Day celebration next month.

Marlito Cabigas, BNP administrator, said the delegation will promote San Pedro Calungsod to the participants of this international youth gathering through the ‘Barkada ni Pedro’ facebook fan page.

If they ‘like’ the page, they will receive daily updates about San Pedro Calungsod and our Catholic faith.

Because of this, the group will facilitate a fundraising activity, a special advance screening of ‘Boses,’ an award-winning movie endorsed by Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma.

The pre-screening will be on June 25 at SM City Cebu Cinema 5 with three pre-screening schedules (10 a.m. noon and 2 p.m.).
