Call center agent robbed

An armed man robbed a call center agent inside a passenger jeepney last Sunday dawn in Mandaue City.

Karen Christel Baran, 23, of sitio Lemonsito, barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City, lost her cell phone worth P8,000 and her company identification card to the robber.

Investigation showed that Baran was riding a jeepney bound for Lapu-Lapu City at 2 a.m. when the robber pretending to be a passenger pulled out a knife and announced a hold up.

The robbery happened as the jeepney was cruising along A.C. Cortes Avenue in Mandaue City. /Reporter Jucell Marie P. Cuyos
