‘Tremors’ send employees out of Makati building; no quake reported

MANILA, Philippines—(UPDATE) Employees of the Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) and other tenants at the Atrium in Makati City evacuated the building after they felt what they described were “tremors” before noon Thursday.

No earthquake, however, was reported in the area at that time.

Building officials were conducting an inspection.
