9-vehicle collision snarls traffic along C5

MANILA, Philippines—Nine vehicles figured in an accident Thursday afternoon at the southbound lane of C5, Libis, Quezon City, causing heavy traffic in the area.

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the accident happened at a U-turn slot around 3 p.m. No one was reported injured in the accident.

MMDA has advised motorists to take a different route due to heavy traffic.

The vehicles involved in the accident and their owners or drivers have yet to be identified. Meanwhile, authorities have begun working to remove the vehicles from the scene to ease up traffic flow.
