MANILA, Philippines-Quezon city cannot be tagged a ‘carnap city’, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) director Chief Superintendent George Regis said on Monday.

“We cannot continue to let our constituents in Quezon city think that it is a carnap city,” Regis argued.

Regis said the number of carnapping incidents in a city should not be the only basis, but the number of population and the number of vehicles bought within a period of time.

Regis said that by next week, he will present data at Camp Crame that will prove that Quezon City is not a ‘carnap city.’
