New recruits shine for CBM

CEBU BLUE Marlins’ newly recruited tankers showcased their prowess in the Cebu City Sports Center’s Summer Swimming Program culminating activity.

This after  after they bagged a total of 36 gold medals in the activity.

Breendon Villarubia got eight gold medals in the 16-17 years old category  while Nyko Archival finished with six gold medals in the 9-10 years old category.

Nyko Archival’s siblings, Nyka and Nyza, also put up a good showing  after they bagged 12 golds combined.

Mary Pauline Indaya and Sonya Christine Base got five golds each.

CBM oach Lando Alvarez of Cebu Blue Marlins said that the above mentioned swimmers’ training for tougher competition such as inter-school meets will formally start this week. This is to prepare them to be included  in the lineup of Cebu’s best young swimmers for regional and national competitions.
