Senator Franklin Drilon tells Radyo Inquirer that the former first gentleman Mike Arroyo should be able to face the Senate since he was well enough for a trip to Hong Kong.

MANILA, Philippines – If former first gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo was well enough to make the trip to Hong Kong, then he must be able to make it to the Senate hearings, Senator Franklin Drilon told Radyo Inquirer in an interview Monday.

Drilon said that although the former first gentleman had the right against self-incrimination, he could not use a “blanket invocation and say that he will not face the Senate because he might incriminate himself.”
