TEEN FOUND HANGING DEAD
A 17-YEAR-OLD Filipino-Japanese national was found hanging dead at the back of his house in barangay Cabancalan, Mandaue City.
Ryugi Yamamoto was found by his elder brother suspended from the trusses with a rope looped around his neck.
Before he was found dead, the teenager was reportedly scolded by his father for being unemployed, said Senior Insp. Ramil Morpos, chief of the Casuntingan police.
The teen was also admonished by his father for having a girlfriend, Morpos said.

MAN SHOT BY FRIEND
A 27-YEAR-OLD man was critically wounded after he was shot by his friend with whom he had an argument in a drinking session in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.
Ramil Aying sustained two gunshot wounds in the body.
Police identified the suspect as Anderson Dano, who fled after the attack.
Police said Aying and Dano, 18, were with a group of friends in a drinking session when they argued past 2 a.m. yesterday.
The two were pacified by their friends but Dano drew a gun and shot the victim, police said.
The victim was brought to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital. He was later transferred to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City.
