CITY OF MALOLOS—A man riding on a motorcycle on Monday shot and killed a vacationing migrant worker and his wife, who had just withdrawn P1 million from a bank here, police said.
Charlemagne Siute, 62, died from a single bullet that was fired from a .45 caliber pistol by one of two men on the motorcycle at an intersection in Bulihan village here, police said. His wife, Luzviminda, 60, died while being treated at a local hospital.
Their attackers fled without taking the money that the couple intended to use to start a small business. Siute worked as chief engineer of a luxury liner. Carmela Reyes-Estrope, Inquirer Central Luzon
