THE ATENEO Blue Eagles try to settle a score with their fierce rivals, the La Salle Green Archers, as the vaunted alumni of the two legendary squads battle in the second annual “Dream Game” today at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The Blue Eagles face an uphill battle with the absence of three key players in LA Tenorio, Larry Fonacier and Japeth Aguilar, all of whom are slated to leave for Lithuania as part of the Gilas Pilipinas national squad.
The wards of coach Sandy Arespacochaga, though, added Chris Tiu and Emman Monfort to their roster, which is composed of Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Noy Baclao, Eric Salamat, JC Intal, Doug Kramer, Enrico Villanueva, Wesley Gonzales, Rich Alvarez, Paolo Bugia, and Magnum Membrere.
The Archers will aim for a repeat of last year’s 117-104 result behind the talents of Don Allado, Simon Atkins, Joseph Yeo, MacMac Cardona, Mike Cortez, RenRen Ritualo, Rico Maierhofer, Ryan Arana, Carlo Sharma, Willy Wilson, and TY Tang. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
