Osada wins CETBA monthly title
EMIE OSADA won the May title of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association’s (CETBA) monthly competition held last May 25 at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center.
Osada knocked a total of 1,195 pins in six rounds to outplay younger and tougher counterparts.
Another lady bowler upset her male counterparts as Ester Francisco scored 1,156 pinfalls to place second.
Rounding off the top three is junior bowler Aui Padawan, who scored a total of 1,152 pinfalls.
A total of 21 of CETBA bowlers competed in the monthly tournament. The 12 winners of this monthly competition will compete in this December’s Finals for the Bowler of the Year award.
Meanwhile, CETBA will be holding a tournament this June 12.
The tournament will be having singles, doubles and masters competition. It will also be held at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center. /CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
