Five bodies found in Las Pinas fire aftermath
MANILA, Philippines –Five people were believed killed in the four-hour long fire that struck a residential compound in Las Pinas city before dawn this morning.
Las Pinas police chief Senior Supt. Adolfo Samala confirmed the grisly discovery of the bodies, but said the fatalities remain unidentified as of press time.
Samala said the fire started at the residential Villanueva Compound in Barangay Almanza Uno at 1:50 am. It was put out at 6 a.m.
The five bodies were only discovered during the clearing operations, Samala said.
