Guadalupe parish holds weekly Gospel reflection

TO strengthen the spiritual life of parishioners, the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City has organized a one-hour “Bible Study-Sunday Gospel Reflection” every Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. inside the church with Msgr. Achilles Dakay as facilitator.

“In the midst of changing and tough times, everyone needs  strength to carry on,” said Msgr. Jose S. Montecillo, parish priest.

Montecillo said the weekly activity that focuses on the Gospel of the following Sunday is continuing and open to everybody. “We need to nourish our soul and overcome the worldly pressures,” Montecillo added.

The activity received positive feedback from the participants.

“It gives us the proper disposition when Sunday comes aside from giving meaning to our daily activities,” said Ricardo de los Reyes, president of the parish pastoral council. De los Reyes enjoined everyone to join the weekly Gospel reflection.
