After getting blown out in Games 2 and 3, the Petron Blaze Boosters showed some signs of life, putting their own impressive offensive show to trash the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters, 105-83, in Game 4 of the 36th PBA Governors’ Cup best-of-seven finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

Showing they too can score in bulk, all the players fielded in by coach Ato Agustin scored at least four points as the Boosters tied the series at 2-all to reduce the battle into a best-of-three.

The Boosters’ offense clicked in the third period. Their superb defense also limited the Texters to just four field goals in that period, turning a slim 53-50 halftime lead into a huge 86-62 lead with one quarter left.

The game was never close after that as the best the Texters could was to move within 83-97 in the final three minutes.
