THE DEFENDING champions Teletch Titans and the Stream Blue Devils pulled off contrasting wins at the start of the second round of eliminations of the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym last Saturday.
The Titans secured sole possession of the lead in the team standings by edging the Calltek Trojans, 75-71, while the Blue Devils had less trouble moving to solo third place with a 103-41 crushing of the Kyocera Frontiers.
Sherwin Emmanuelle Resilla scored 18 points and the newly crowned All-Star MVP Lourenz Limpangog pitched in 17 markers as the Titans bagged their eighth win in nine games, breaking free from a two-way at the top with arch-nemesis Convergys, which is 7-1 (win-loss).
